Hi! Was wondering why my named.conf and pri.domainnamehere.com files get refreshed every time I use my GUI. Is there any way I can stop the RAQ from constantly refreshing every time I use the GUI?
Thanks,
-Rob

The GUI tends to do that to a lot of conf files everytime you use it. I would search the mailing list archives here (http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users/). You should find a lot of info about this there.

Nice nick :)

dada dada dada dada raqman! :D

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm still unable to find the answer to the problem I'm having:
I need to be able to have a script (php) create new domain entrys. Any ideas how i can go about this?

You are referring to named.conf and pri.domain.com returning to their original state everytime you load your gui right?

Hmm, try opening a browser and getting to the point where you have the 'save changes to dns' button. Then edit the files as needed, when you are finished click save changes to DNS. I saw a message in the archives relating to that somewhat, but it may or may not work.

If that doesn't work Im afraid I don't know what to do, Cobalt's are very picky about customizations. Maybe try sending a message to the Cobalt user group?
