I have a linux sever behind my win-pc and i want to forward - or something like this - my ip from the linux server so people can get on my server..
i have a webserver on my linux pc but on the moment i can acces the site only from my local network how can i make it so that u ( or anyone else ) can get on the server?

We'll need a little more detail about the way your network is setup:
1. What type of connection to the Internet do you have?
2. Are you using non-routable IP addresses for your Windows and Linux boxes?
3. What type of internal network do you have?
4. Are you using any sort of Proxy Device?

You can use NAT (Network Address Translation). This feature may be built into your router or software on your Windows PC...WinGate supports NAT, and I'm sure other similar products do as well.

i use winroute and my connection is cable,
i've heard from nat but what must i do that this works
( when u enter 212.83.79.132 that u come one my webserver whos ip is (intern) 192.168.2.2
