PLEASE NOTE: The IP assignments herein are authorized ONLY for the server you requested them for. DO NOT transfer them between servers! Please use utmost care in configuring IP numbers; a single typing error can put yours and others' servers offline. In particular, NEVER configure an IP number ending in .1, such as 172.16.33.1.

"And others' servers offline"? Does this mean my particular host is not very secure? Because it sounds like that customers can mess up each others' IP addresses. (Hey, isn't that how the http://www.tera-byte.com website got messed up a while back)

It sounds like it is possible yes. However they may also put that i there just as a warning. Try putting in some other IP addresses and see what happens :D :D. Okay, maybe that is not such a good idea.

If there is an IP in use and you assign it to your server, both servers could go offline. They want to make sure that you do not assign IPs that have already been assigned to another machine.

Also the IPs' ending with a .1 are usually reserved for the gateways.
