Is one way better than the other? Just download the RPM file and "rpm -U" and it was installed. Pretty much as easy as installing a package but without the web based interface. Oh, this is on a RaQ 3 not a 4. The instructions at: http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-developers/2000-October/002623.html will guide you through installing the RPM and perl support if you're interested in that. |
