Nothing's been sent to me from either company. Nothing on their websites either so I'd say, certainly for the moment everything looks fine.

It does not affect web-hosting companies only high risk adult sites. I read about it over on 2checkout's forums and they said it does not apply to them. :D

Hi there,

Can you please tell me the exact words that 2checkout said about this..cause I heard that it's still not a sure thing

I also searched the available information at 2checkout.com and it is pretty cut and dry..as to why this evolution does not effect them.

The DO NOT allow webmasters to sell adult material...so...I guess that takes care of that!...

But (and I am thinking again)..how could VISA "pick and choose" amongst the millions of internet billing providers....and impose this fee on some and not on others?

Just wondering....? And I don't expect an answer...
It is merely a forseeable observation...that "eventually" "EVERY" Internet Billing Company will pay a price.

Yep - they aren't real big about people calling them. :)

That being said, I have used them since I opened up shop, and it has worked perfectly, so I've never had to call.

This isn't anything to worry about. So the porn freaks have to pay a little more a month. Pass the cost off to the customers!

PS Lisa: my day job blocks out your site. What's on your site, can I assume it's just upskirt shots or something?

BTW: There is a guy here at WHT who works at 2checkout his username is either Tom or TomD and if you email him you can get a phone number to call them at for emergencys.. They dont keep the # out in public as I am sure they do not want to have to hire a full time support staff.. I usually find that there forums get me the response I need and have never needed to call via voice call.

I got an email from a guy called Paul at Revecom and he assured me that the new VISA rules is not and will not be applied to them! YEAH :)
