I have a question. Is there a way to get a commision for refering people to a web hosting company. I don't want to resell because I don't want to look for so many clients and I don't want to manage all the technical support and server things.

Any ideas

Mike

Hello,

Yes, some hosts out there offer commissions for referring sales to them. I can't really name a lot off the top of my head but you may try a search on these forums. The host I am with now (rackshack.net) offers a $37.50 commission for each virtual account and a $50.00 commission for each dedicated account. Try searching for 'affiliates' at the top right.

Regards,

Mike

Many hosts are now using Account Executives or Account Agents that sell their plans and recevie a monthly commission payment w/o having to do the typical reseller thing.

It solves some problems but you also loose some flexability.

Mike, you *might* be interested in looking at a host like OLM.net or webaxxs.net (bascially same co., just different plans). They provide support for your resold clients.

Commission Junctions seems to be the most reliable in my opinion eventhough, they are a little more expensive than others...
