Could anybody who's successfully setup 2+ domains in win2000 give a step-by-step guide? I've tried and tried and failed.

Are you talking about setting them up in IIS 5.0, or in the DNS? Or both?

This reference http://www.iisfaq.com/default.asp?View=L252&P=24 will tell you how to set up IIS with host headers to have multiple website on one IP address.

There's tons more similar references on the net -- try this search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=iis+host+headers&btnG=Google+Search

For DNS, it's really straightforward: if you're having any DNS setup issues post them here.

I'm using apache, and I know how to use virtualservers. The real problem is DNS. I don't have a clue what to do.

Start -> Programs -> Admiinstrative Tools -> DNS ... should be pretty straight forward assuming you actually have MS DNS server installed.

All you need to do is create a forward lookup zone for each domain you want in DNS.

What about using everydns.net? Has anyone tried that? Does it slow down the site since it is FREE and hardware used and connection is ?able.
