I'm looking to get into reselling my hosting services and I'd like to know what you all look for in a good quality reseller plan. I run H-Sphere, so pretty much anything is possible.

Tell me what you'd like to see in a reseller account and I'll see what I can do!

The essentials are, hard drive space, bandwidth, and number of accounts you can sell per plan. Anything extra you'd like to include would be great.

Are you asking us what size packages you should offer or looking for a resellers account?

Yes, what do you consider worth looking at? and at what prices? be reasonable, bandwidth isn't free.

Im not sure if pricing is that big of a deal anymore... I used to think so but look at mchost.com, there prices are $2 per GB..

Thats not exactly below retail is it??
So why do resellers flock to them,, because they are making enough money to provide the support they claim and stay in business.. what good is a reseller offering .50 per GB if they cant provide service(without this why not be your own hosting firm) and stay around(they fall under the resellers fall under)...

So i guess i would suggest not trying to sale yourself short, instead of asking what prices would be reasonable to the public i would ask what prices would i have to maintain to offer a valuable product.. then compare that to the market ex. www.mchost.com, httpme.com, and see how it stacks up...

If you are close and can offer something unique, then go for it,, and good luck!

Oh, i forgot to add something.. . I would not go above 100GB of size for a particular reseller plan.. once you do the obvious truth of the fact that resellers could easily get a dedicated w/ WHM/cpanel for about as much as your reseller plan is noticed you can forget it...

So i would start with around 20GB and have no larger than a 100GB plan, just my 2cents..
