4webspace.com and all servers are down. does anybody know of scheduled maintenance work? if yes, no email was sent out.

starts being annoying...

I haven't noticed any downtime this morning.

I've been working on my server for the past 90 minutes and it's not gone down at all.

It was probably a problem related to your ISP.

problem is the connection at hop 13 - probably the interconnection between 4webspace.com and alter.net - nothing to do with the isp, except you probably use a different route (not through alter.net?)

I just checked and *my* server isn't down, although I can't access it again. There is something buggered up with the path (just so you know, and this is different than your server, or tera-byte itself, being 'down').

If you trace it from a different location, you'll probably see that your server is up. I say 'probably' and 'my' since who knows, *your* server *could* be down, heh, but tera-byte is not, I'm certain if that.

Well, one of my admins complaint about the same thing, server not there...

Weird details:
ping timed out
IE timed out
traceroutes showed perfect details all the way up to the server

Opera then simply connected without problems where IE failed....

Yep my ISP goes through sprintlink.

There is a peering problem between @Home and Sprint. Those of you on @Home having connectivity problems may want to contact them about the issue.

It seems that there was a majour backbone failure this morning from the UK to US links... seems to be fixed now.
