I know that C Panel is a resource hog. Do H Sphere and Ensim use as much resources as C Panel?

SSH ownz :) Well aren't you a special little one. I don't see how that fits into this thread at all. dynamitehost 09-30-2002, 09:09 AM lol. people are always on the offence in these forums :D Jolly good day to you sir. whoppe 09-30-2002, 09:16 AM No control panel should be a resource hog. As the only job the control panel should need to do is the occational processing whenever the user logs in through the CP. Most of the work will be handled by the respective daemons, http, ftp dns and so on. UH-Matt 09-30-2002, 12:09 PM I dont mean to waste another reply on this thread but.. Haze, go get some ice and chill out :) op@SOD.NET 09-30-2002, 12:26 PM Plesk is definitely not a resouce hog. I don't think Ensim is much of one either. I'd like to know about H*Sphere myself, and whether that bogs down anything. ntwaddel 09-30-2002, 12:38 PM Originally posted by UH-Matt I dont use control panels .. SSH ownz :) same here :D insiderhosting 09-30-2002, 06:11 PM Hsphere is a resource hog because it is java, and it does take a lot of resources from the server. -Steven Jedito 09-30-2002, 06:40 PM Originally posted by insiderhosting Hsphere is a resource hog because it is java, and it does take a lot of resources from the server. -Steven The good thing its that you can have the H-Sphere control panel in 1 server, and the rest in others, so, even if the control panel server have a high load, the site wont be affected. BTW, I use H-Sphere and I didn't saw to be a resource hog. insiderhosting 09-30-2002, 06:44 PM Jorge, You are 100% correct, but none the less, it still is a resource hog, even on it's own server. -Steven chrisb 09-30-2002, 06:49 PM JFYI, SSH uses resources too. Now, back to control panels... Plesk is one control panel that I don't care about. So, according to the replies here, it looks like Ensim uses less resources than H Sphere or C Panel. Is that correct.
