View Full Version : CGI script stopped working

Hi again all! I have 404 finders installed on all the pages on my RaQ4 and, thanks to Chicken and the rest of you for helping with my .htaccess file, everything was running perfectly... Until 2 days ago. Now my script can't/won't read the data files to report dead links. It is the weirdest thing. The scripts are installed properly (they USED to work!) so I have to believe it is a server issue. The only thing I changed recently on my RaQ was the an .htaccess file for another site. It was the CGI wrap fix:

Options +ExecCGI
AddHandler cgi-script .cgi
AddHandler cgi-script .pl

And I put it in the folder that the scripts were being called from. Now THAT script works perfectly and my 404 finders don't.

Any help? <sheepish grin>

DOH!

You probably thought this was going to be a helpful post, but I regret to tell you it isn't. I can't see why that would have affected anything.

Install any of those RaQ breaking patches lately? You know, the ones that 'fix' things?

Out of curiousity...if you remove the other .htaccess file do the original ones start working?

Its doubtful, but I am curious.

I think chicken might be on the right path, have you installed any Cobalt patches recently?
