I currently have a Basic account at Webpipe.net with the following specs: $12.95/mo, 50MB space, 1GB transfer, PHP/MySQL, Telnet/FTP, 1 POP. I'm thinking of getting Tera-byte.com's Plan 4 whose spcs are: $9.25/mo, 99MB space, 20GB transfer, PHP/MySQL, 99 POPs, Telnet/FTP.

Just looking at the two different plans, would you switch to Tera-byte.com? I've been reading here that it's also a good host, and I'd pay less and get more if I switched.

What do you think?

Personally, if I was happy with the performance/service I was getting with a current host I wouldn't switch without a compelling reason. I don't consider saving a couple of bucks a month all that compelling. However, if you really need the extra features and are looking to switch, Tera-byte has a good reputation and would probably be a good choice.

Hi zerofrills

I can only refer to my own experiences with Tera-byte, and they have been spectacular. I`ve got around 10 accounts/sites with them, and that I give them my highest recommendations, is no suprise.

I don't think you would face any trouble with Tera-Byte, they are a high-recommended host around everywhere.

Some customers from Tera-byte have had problems with their shared mySQL server. It appears some of their SQL server is heavily loaded.

I have never used webpipes but I have used Tera-bytes for over a year now! THEY ARE A-1 in all accounts! Steve is there for any problems or questions you might encounter! We have a high volumn, resource echat running around 20GIG a month and there was never mention of our useuage! We have since upgraded and have our own Dedicated Server with 4Webspace.com but that is as well supported by Tera-Bytes!
Any support i could repay to Tera-Bytes i would be very happy too!
