I was curious where the majority of hosts keep their servers.

In a home Built server room ? In a remote datacenter ? None needed due to being a reseller ?

Ive got servers everywhere

My home office has 4 server systems, 2 of them dual penti's.
Ive got over 100 servers in various datacenters.
My office has countless computers that would qualify as servers ;]

Wow 100 servers? I guess you can start build your own data center.

I have 12 networked computers built for web and game server hosting in my home.

I also have reseller accounts with various hosting companys that i have stressed to the bone, i only use the hosts i would back with a guarantee myself.

how can you arrange the bandwidth in home office ?
how much is enough ? Is it stable ?
and if your home got shortage of electricity...then how to deal with ??

Ive never ran short of bandwidth and have had very few complaints about speed.

We stay around 99+% uptime each month, this week we are running at 100% uptime, 0% slow downs and 0% errors, if you have aim or you can e-mail me ill be more then happy to send you a picture chart of the stats.

Electricity never goes out, its gone out twice in the past 6 months for about 1 min.

whatever

We have a few web servers on a dsl conenction and rented servers on a duel oc3 connection.

you could test ping two of the servers on the dsl line,

66.139.194.73
66.139.194.74

They ping pretty nice as from what i hear.

Actually if you spend a bit more you can get up to 100 minutes of battery time off of generic UPS's (the ones at like Office Depot, or Staples or whatever...not the extremely expensive milti-thousand dollar ones) for around $120 a piece.

I'm thinking a few of those (One for every server running) would keep things running....or maybe a 20 minute one and a smaller generator out back would make things good.

All i would need is somthing to hold for about 10 mins, power always coem on with in 5 min=)

But like i said its only gone out about 2 times in 6 months.
