View Full Version : Enom's problem.
LinuXpert 09-24-2002, 01:44 AM Anyone succeeds in creating new Enom's subaccount today? It seems that all accounts with 0 domain are no longer listed in the sub-account main page so we cannot configure the prices for new accounts. I tried to contact Enom but haven't recieved any replies. Anyone knows how to do now?
ckpeter 09-24-2002, 02:12 AM Yes, same here. It seems that all account with 0 domains and has not been used to register before are delete. However, I have a domain that previously had transaction, even though it has 0 domain, it still exists.

ckpeter 09-24-2002, 02:13 AM Hmm...this is strange, it seems that instead of deleted, the accouts is transferred to enom. I had a previous accout set up that disappeared from my sub-account list, but still exists. (I can still log into it).

DotComster 09-24-2002, 05:30 AM Yikes, I lost some new clients accounts I just sent the info to them a few hours ago!
LinuXpert 09-24-2002, 05:35 AM Still waiting for Enom's response :(
TheWatcher2 09-24-2002, 05:46 AM I guess all enom reseller have difficulty of this issue. I have a lot of prospective sellers that not register any domain, all gone due to this deletion of account. This is not a good practice, especially not informing us. One of my prospective buyers, told me that he cannot login to my site, well it is because his account was deleted.
Same here... Do enom offer 24x7 support?
See their News page:

Maybe our subresellers are not gone, just "under maintenance". :)
However, the schedules are only for tommorrow....

All accounts still exist but inactive accounts disappear from the list.
NetworksData, have you tried logging in with an "inactive account"?

Yep. No problem.
I wonder what will happen if an inactive account register a domain name. Do we still earn a commission?
LinuXpert 09-24-2002, 08:46 AM Not sure but I think you still earn commissions. If not, you won't lose anything ;)
AQHost 09-24-2002, 12:37 PM My account manager just emailed me to tell me that this problem has been resolved. New account creations are fine, and the old accounts that had disappeared from the sub-account listing have been restored.
Best wishes,
Simon.
DotComster 09-24-2002, 01:48 PM Problem fixed :)
registercafe 09-24-2002, 04:44 PM Still waiting for Enom's response
They alway don't response, is their normal practice.
Maybe it just a routine database clean up.
LinuXpert 09-24-2002, 07:14 PM Phew. Everything just fine.
