Hi

I was wondering how to redirect mydomain1.com to mydomain2.com and to be able to register both of them with search engines

I really can't think of a way you could do this? Park it (point to IP), no real pages to submit. Frame forwarding, fuhhhhgedddaboutit. Meta refresh, not sure, but don't think so. Really, far as I know, redirection and SE's don't work all that well. Not sure what you can do... hmmmm... anyone?

Your best option is to mirror myserver1.com. Use the index file for myserver1.com but point all the links to myserver2.com. The ONLY way your going to be able to do it for search engines, however, that won't work on some of them (dmoz.org doesn't allow mirror sites).

If you click my page; the first page with "detecting flash5......loading" is really a doorway page (further down on the page). I use flash to do the redirection and detection; I got this page listed with google and altavista so far, so that could be a option.
You can contact me if you want a flash redirection script.
