Hello,

Many of you already know me, this is Charles from Web Works.
As you may or may not know we are in the final stages of finishing up work on our new NOC in Kansas City MO in the downtown district.

We are looking to provide those of you below cost colocation services. That means we make no profit off of you at all. We are simply looking to make strategic partnerships with the larger hosting companys out there.

So if you have a need for at least 2mps of bandwidth or higher and a minimum of 1 full rack. I can get you into our new facility and all you will be charged is what we are charged from our providers, absolutly NO MARKUP. And you are locked into those rates for as long as you keep a contract with us. This offer will not be vaild once the facility is open and operational it is only for those who partner up with us beforehand.

Why are we doing this, were looking to expand very quickly to several other citys and to do this we need our networks at capacity so we are not losing capital.

Now what about our facility? Our new facility will initally start out with T3's through UUNET and Sprint using bgp routing and load balancing, our new NOC sits on the most fiber in the entire state. In fact UUNETS offices are in the same building as our NOC, that means no hops no local loops etc... Sprint headquarters is also in Kansas City MO.

Our guerentee to you is the best support and service, if at anytime our network, facility, or any resource gets to the 50% capacity level we add more resources.

Straying off subject a bit here but, when are you planning on opening? I have been looking around between dedicated and colocation for awhile and dedicded to go with colocation when I am ready. Since I also live in Kansas City your data center would probally work as a good colocation place for me. Could you give me a rough estimate of when you will open?

Were looking at 30-60 days, unfort. its really up to the telco on when the run the fiber lines in, not us.

I would be willing to work out what method you would prefer... again like I said were not forming partnerships to make any money just to grow our company...

Charles,

damn, if I had the capital lying around I'd be all over you like a cheap shirt with a deal like that :)

What Greg said :). But the idea of shipping 40 servers to KC is just too much...not to mention that I don't think our customers would like the 12 hours or so of downtime :D -- and I'm not sure I could convince the flight attendants that they all qualify as carry-on.

I have a friend in Lawrence who is looking for a job, and she has been asking me to open a satellite office out there so she can work for us...but I don't think we are ready for that :D.
