Hello,
I am chatting with the Rackshack support at the moment, and Im not sure the know 100% what's going on. Every 15 minutes on the dime I get these two in there, and it makes for very difficult to read log's.
Mar 6 10:00:00 localhost proftpd[30732]: rs-10263.rs.rackshack.net (localhost[127.0.0.1]) - FTP session closed.
Mar 6 10:00:03 localhost telnetd[30740]: ttloop: read: Broken pipe
I checked cron.quarter-hourly and there is nothing in there... any ideas?
BTW, another Rackshack user in the chat that frequents this board has the same in their logs (sorry, didn't catch your name). I assume it's some sort monitoring to see if my server is there. The telnetd isn't the same as the proftpd message because telnet is disabled.
Any ideas anybody?
Regards,
Mike
