I'm thinking about building another website but was woundering if anyone knew where I could find out about like an XML file that goes in the root of the site or something that would work as the sites navigation system.
I was also looking into when the XML file gets updated with new links to files on your website then hopefully a navigation bar would update etc. In order to simplify the processes.

Thanks for the link Gilbert. I'm thinking of learning php and that has given me a little more encouragement.

It sounds like you might want to look into one of the many free content management tools available.
