I am looking for application like "live help or live chat" to support or customers.
If the soft needs to install something on the agent computer, it must be compatible with: linux, macosx and windows...
Thank you!

I agree with you.
I'm also using " Providesupport.com " Well its well and good for live chat with the customers.
Their plan starts from 15$ a month for one operator. Very cheap software that is.

I would also like to suggest Providesupport.com. We have been using it for months.

Providesupport is the best featured.

I would recommend LiveZilla, http://livehelp.stardevelop.com/, and http://solutions.liveperson.com/. All three are good solutions in my opinion.

Provide support is very nice when it comes to Live Chat. The live chat included in the support suite of kayako is also very nice as well. Both are fairly cheap...
If your budget is rather large, I recommend Live Person..
If you have no budget, I guess Live Zilla is alright :)

You are right. When you talk about high budget,
BOLDCHAT is recommended. They have complete customer support Solution.
Bold chat, Bold Email, Bold Call ofcourse.
Their software suit is very helpful to get in touch with customer, you can call or receive with your landline number through your PC suit. The call you reciving to your land line will be redirected to your PC.
So you won;t miss any calls even if you not in office :D

I recommend Stardevelop Live Help. I do not recommend Live Zilla as it uses a lot of CPU compared with other paid solutions.

stardevelop
livezilla - free free free
kayako
all ones that I would recommend.
@john - I'm on livezilla right now, it doesn't use a lot of CPU to my knowledge - I'm running it and cpu is low and ram is around a 100mb which is alright since I have 4gb ram on my pc.
Livezilla is still a great way to get started on live chat support since not everyone can get a budget to get a license for a paid software.

I would also recommend Livezilla but it looks like it only supports Windows at the moment.

We switched to LiveZilla from ProvideSupport. While Providesupport is a great application, I find LiveZilla to be especially beneficial for any cost-cutting measure. ;)

The OP said it needs to be compatible with linux/mac/windows, so livezilla is out.
I would also recommend providesupport. The only problem is their don't keep track of stats which is the biggest downfall about them.
