Morning,
I have a .psd and a single .pfm font file, I tried installing the font into windows and it isn't having it! A search reveals that I should have a .pfb as well?
Am I to assume that Photoshop or similar will be able to understand it with just the .pfm, or do I need both font files regardless?
If so I've been sold a pup!
Any help appreciated :)

The only way I know how is with exporting PDF's through photoshop otherwise you need the actual font file.
What font is it maybe I have it?
