Hi

I just updated my Cpanel/WHM and i got "Horde" webmail application upgraded with it.

Now when i try accessing horde..it says it cannot authenticate me. after looking around i came to know that i had to start IMAP on my server to use HORDE..

unfortunately i m not being able to start imap on my server.
how do i do this ?

and i do not have xinetd.d in its appropriate place, althoud i have it in /etc/xinetd.d/ BUT its not present in /etc/rc.d/....

I also killed portsenty and tired to log in but in vein..any suggestions or HELP

Well the easy way is to log into WHM and go to restart services and click on the IMAP server.

imap has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

Go to http://fourms.cpanel.net do a search on IMAP there is a few threads on getting it to work and setup.

drop an e-mail to cpanel support and ask them how to re-build your imap server...
