View Full Version : Complex Content Site

I am an amateur web developer and sorta enjoy what I do. Typically I have been able to do most everything I needed with existing solutions (Wordpress & Drupal mostly), some plugins/modules, and a bit of creative templating.
Now I have run into a roadblock in trying to make a site with complex content like reviews, recepies, dictionary definitions, and articles but also referential/contextual content IE display this sidebox in template in all articles related to the series, videogame, book or whatever.
I know I am probably in over my head so at this point what are my options? And if I can't do it myself where should I start looking for help? There a directory for this kinda thing or is the Employment Offers section the place to go?

Hi Ariolander,
Sometimes the best approach can be to get someone more qualified to do the work for you if you feel you may be out of your depth. In saying that you can then also look at what they've done and learn some programming techniques/coding from that for future work that comes up for you. The most suitable forum section for you to post a request for this would be here:

I hope this helps.
