Are you familiar with some of the major registrars and their resellers? The systems? Have a preference? What I mean is, that enom is a popular registrar with a particular system that varies from OpenSRS, and in both cases many people buy domains through resellers of these registrars.

If you've never used any system and don't have a preference then it is wide open, but for example, if you have used OpenSRS systems before and like it, or another then maybe someone can head you in a specific direction.

try namecheap.com, registerfly.com that offer domain name registration thru enom (they resell for them). If you prefer opensrs, then you will need to find another registrar.

ps. worth a look: directi.com

Directi's prices are very cheap but their control panel looks ugly. I recommend Enom and Godaddy.

People who have an enom reseller can probably offer you domains for as low as $7.2
http://hostradius.com is one but I think they charge you more if you don't host with them.

http://godaddy.com is probaby the most popular choice.

Why not go for a reseller account from Enom or Godaddy? If you're their reseller, you can register domains at very cheap prices.

godaddy is bad for hosting providers.. they do sell hosting which is not that good (e.g. compete with u) ...

The question here again is: how many domain names are you registering? If it is just a couple of names, I don't think a few dollars per year would make that much difference. You should pay more attention to their support instead.

Stay away from the big guys who charge most since they are ridiculously providing the worst services. Tucows' OpenSRS is a reliable registrar but they do not sell to end-users. If you are not comfortable with small resellers, you may choose to go with domaindirect.com or easyhosting.ca which are both subsidiaries of Tucows.

GoDaddy.com might also be a good choice since they are directly accredited by ICANN unless you want to save a dollar or two by going for eNom's resellers.
