A few things for you to consider

Why would I want to pay you to do 9 - 7 when this can be done easily in-house.

A useful service would be 24 hours

Why just UK company's if your providing 9 -7 UK time then it's middle of the night in the US. This could be a cheap alternative to a US based company rather then employing techs to cover 24/7

Is this 365 days a year?

Who pays for the 0800 calls? Is this including in the £49.95.
Might be better to offer 0870/0845 numbers as well. Try http://www.netfreestuff.com the numbers are free and there's no call charges

Good idea, however I think it needs a little work still.

Hello
No connection except they are also in Doncaster (hence the name)

There is no service issue as these numbers either work or they don't :)

We have had ours for 2 years with no problems.

We actually currently offer a similar service for a number of UK based hosting providers, (although we do not advertise the service), and were planning to put our outsourced support under a different brand.

We currently do 24/7 telephone and email support for clients (mixture of contact methods, SLA's etc), with pricing starting from £1 per end user per month (£300 minimum) including 24/7 telephone/email/tickets (0870 number for contact purposes).

Interestingly, this service works best with customers we also manage servers for, as it enables us to deal with issues all the way from 1st line, up to the regular stuff we do system administration wise. IE, in the event of an issue, our support team spots it and often resolves it on the server before even the client or other end users know there is a problem.

We definetly believe there will be strong market growth in providing this kind of service in the UK marketplace.

For 0845, 0870 & 09** numbers, look at www.kalnet4u.co.uk (http://www.kalnet4u.co.uk). If ound them to be very helpful and the revenue share is greater.

I have no connection with the above company, other than being a satisfied company and once sharing a host with them :)
