I have a server with Limestone Networks but am leaving for the sole reason that I need a server located elsewhere (Canada). They have been absolutely fantastic to work with otherwise. I have spoken with them and this transfer has been approved.
Server Details:
- Intel Core2Quad Q6600
- 8GB RAM
- 2x250gb drives in RAID-1 (software RAID)
- 100mbps uplink
- 2,000 GB monthly bandwidth
- 8 IPs (5 usable)
- Remote power on/off
Server cost: ONLY $125/month
I am paying +$10/month for a 20 GB NAS. This can be removed if you wish.
This is a month-to-month server so there are NO long-term contracts.
Looking for $400 or best offer.
Thanks!

Can you justify the $400 ???
You said its only $125/month so how come your charging $400 to pass it to somebody else i dont understand why somebody would pay that when they could just go and order it at Limestone direct cheaper?

Presumably the deal is better than could be acquired directly? That's my guess.

Configuring it right now, I get a price of over $270/month - it's a savings of 50%+. I got it as a very, very hot deal - which it still is.

I'm still confused. So, is it $125 a month, or $400/month?

You need to pay him 400$ for the transfer then you will only pay 125 dollars per month to limestone.
Think of the 400$ like a setup fee.

Haha oh I see.. that's what I had suspected he had meant but didn't suspect him to be trying to take a fee for it.
Thanks for the clarification.
