I'm looking for a hosting company where I can be sure that my stuff is located on a server in Europe.
More specifically I have some Virtual Tours sometimes as big 50mb and I need to know that the client is loading them from Europe and not somewhere else where it's going to take longer.
None of the hosting companies I have spoken to will guarantee that only one location is used. I'm ok if the hosting company uses several servers in Europe.
Thoughts?

Well I would prefer probably Switzerland since it's also more central to Russia but the company needs to speak English. If not then I guess the UK is fine.

Another option is to look for hosts that provide CDN support. CDN is content delivery network and tackles the exact problem that you are having. Soft Layer offers CDN support with its dedicated servers. Perhaps try to locate a web hosting company that is using Soft Layer.

We've had several requests for this service and are still testing the waters. The recent UBS case doesn't auger well though...

If you need European with a good speed, take a look at OVH's Kimsufi range. The Q6600 and i7 servers come with 1gbit connections. I recently speedtested on the i7 server and got 120megaBYTES per second download and 85 megaBYTES per second upload. Depending on how many times you'll be loading it at the same time, this could be a great solution to keep the costs down and keep a good loading time for your virtual tours.
