I have a couple of .com and .net domains for my small (very small) business. Namecheap is selling .info domains for less than $3 per year. Is it worth buying? (I am primarily forwarding my domains to other sites where I sell my products)
Thanks!

doesn't help. it is always good to protect your brand.

take it. as above said, it helps protecting you. please note, that the below $3 is only for the first year, afterward you will have "normal" pricing of around $7 - $10 for renewals.

Having had .info in the past, I would personally pass on it now. It does not seem to be worth it in many cases.

Protecting your brand makes sense, but how many prospects would you lose without the .info domain? For a very small business, probably none. Still even at $10 per year, that's less than one dollar per month. I'd do it just for the peace of mind since you already seem concerned.
