How do some people get $5.99/$5 DirectAdmin Licenses for VPS?

Perhaps bulk purchases? I'd also be interested as to how they do this, but I'm sure large volumes / reselling is involved here.

This is actually quite simple.
1: Contact DirectAdmin and ask for a "code 500 account"
2: They upgrade you
3: You order a code 500 license for $5.00 a month :)

They do require that you are either a VPS or dedicated server provider. Matt will sort you out with anything you need though ;)

Is DirectAdmin having some problems? On their site:
We typically respond to e-mail inquiries within 45 minutes during normal business hours.
I e-mailed them 2 days ago and have not gotten a reply. :confused:

Politely forward your e-mail to them again and ask if they had received it. Perhaps look for an alternative contact method and let them know of your lost e-mail.
It is the weekend now though so you may be out of look until Monday, or Tuesday if they are USA based.

Maybe post your question in their forums or at least why they haven't responded to your e-mail inquiry?

RossMAN makes a good suggestion, from what I remember their forums were always fairly active.
