Hi guys,

Need some advise.

I am hosting some domain with this hosting company called differenthost.com based in Singapore.

Now that I have a kualo reseller's account I requested that they do a transfer of the domain name to my own registrar at namecheap.com

Till now it has been more then 5 days and they have not even replied!

What can I do to get my domain name back?

Are you the listed registrant?
Can you tell us the domain name?

do a whois to see if they are the actual registrant. It may be with a reseller account or something with verisign, etc... and you can go around this company in the east.

Steven,

Who did you email? Please open a ticket at our helpdesk (http://helpdesk.kualo.com) and I'll see to it that it gets forwarded to the right office.

Thanks

Steven,

The last email I received from you was on August 30th and it had nothing to do with domain names. If you had opened a ticket at the help desk as Navin suggested it would have been looked at.
Or you could have even used our forum. How can we help you if we are unaware there is a problem???

Maybe I am wrong, but I get the impression that stevenL was making the reqeust to differenthost to get the domain transferred and not kualo.

yap. The problem is with differenthost.com NOT kualo.com

Differenthost.com has been having a relatively high downtime as compare to others. All these downtime causes me time/money/effort to service my clients.

Therefore I have choose to terminate my accounts with them and to do a transfer of the domain. I dont mind paying for the domain name but certainly I wouldnt pay for the hosting service, which in my humble experience, sucks.

But in the email that they (finally) replied, they have the cheecks to ask for payment.

I am thinking of legal action if they do not transfer my client's domain name. Of cos I do not want this but if this is the only way to do it. I will.

Any advise?

So, can you confirm that you are the admin contact forthe domain? Or was this a domain that you got free when you signed up with this place? If it's that, then maybe they have the domain in their name?

What's the domain name?
