ampracing.com is our domain name. When I do a whois it shows siteleader.com as owning everything. There only phone number for them goes to some poor guys cell phone. I tried getting through to worldwideedomains.com that phone number is also invalid. Enom is the registrar and they wont help because they show siteleader.com as the owner of everything. All attempts at emails to accounts@siteleader.com have gone unanswered.
I am in the process of trying to track down original emails correspondance from when the domain was registered 8 years ago.
Any ideas on where to go next?

You may want to contact ICANN. http://www.icann.org/cgi/contact/ I'm sure they'll be able to help. But, they aren't always speedy at responding. :) Good Luck!

Unless you have proof showing it's your domain name what do you plan on doing with ICANN?

None of this implies a domain theft. Perhaps your just trying to advertise your site?

Have you ever heard of any getting resolution through them? They seem way to big to help out one little domain.
I have to imagine someone who works for siteleader trolls websites like this. You can still buy hosting. Our hosting is still up and running, just all requests for help go unanswered.

I have attempted to remove the domain name from this post. As advertising my site was NOT my intention.
As of a few minutes ago we got our first email back from siteleader, I will keep everyone apprised of the outcome.

The domain wouldn't be a problem if their actually was a domain hi-jacking. If your going to report your car stolen you don't generally do it 5 months after it's been hi-jacked. This domain hasn't been updated since 09-03-2008 which means anything that would of happened related to the domain would of happened then.
The only other way the domain could be hijacked would be if someone has authority over the nameservers and that's a separate issue but I guess it's possible. ICANN wouldn't be the ones to contact about that.

siteleader is the OP's host. Was the domain ever registered in your name or was it always in the hosts name? Did you ever have a control panel to manage the domain? A quick Google shows that your nightmare situation is common with siteleader.
