Yes but I have forgotten how much it is. You need to have a premier or business account to remove the limits.

I don't think there is a limit as to how much you can receive. But I think they start charging you a fee for inbound transactions after a certain threshold. What I am trying to find out is what that threshold is?
As to a premier or business account, you have to pay a fee on all inbound transactions. Hence my interest in a personal account.

The max you can recieve is $500 a month with just your bank account verified. As far as when they charge you, I have no idea. Funds you can receive a month are "Unlimited". Funds you can send out are limited if you are a Unverified buyer, I believe they are $2,000, but Unlimited for all verified personal/premier/business accounts.
But you can't receive more than I believe 5 creditcard payments with personal.
Now if you are talking about "not getting charged a fee," then here's your answer.
PayPal 'forces', in such, members to upgrade to premier/business accounts if they are receiving a lot of money. Otherwise they'll probably limit your account or auto-upgrade it, as it's a risk to them at someone sending in thousands and PayPal not benefiting.
Now if you're a premier member the fee/tax is less than business, but it is still a fee.
The amount you can send to a bank account is $500 USD weekly I believe -- (could be monthly for unverified).
