Does anyone know of hosting company that offers a good anonymous support for their resellers. I know that ***** does but we are all familiar with the fact that they are crap.

MichaelD 03-27-2001, 12:16 PM Now, I am not going to say whether they are crap or not (I haven't had any problems... yet!), but you can be a reseller for http://www.centralinfo.net and it's pretty anonymous. Good Luck, Michael http://www.zaptacular.com/ http://www.spreetree.com/ George Avsker 03-27-2001, 12:28 PM Sorry, I meant toll free and E-amil ananymous support for my clients. JustinH 03-27-2001, 01:58 PM *****.com is the only one I know of, but just note I have yet to hear a GOOD thing about them. Rehan 03-27-2001, 02:21 PM OLM provides 24/7 anonymous end-user support for their RSE service. Here's a direct link to the info: http://www.olmnetworks.com/pages/r-benefits.html (Hey, this was my 100th post. I'm now a bonafide WHT addict! :D ) MichaelD 03-27-2001, 04:28 PM It's probably going to be hard to find a host that will support your clients directly. The reason having resellers is advantageous to these companies is the fact that they get a sales (marketing) force (you) that only gets paid when they make sales and tech support (you) that handles the minor technical issues. There might be one out there, but I don't know of them. If you are going to sell hosting you must expect a time investment! Eventually you can cut your support hours by providing a redundant FAQ/help section. Cheers, Michael http://www.zaptacular.com/ http://www.spreetree.com/ MichaelD 03-27-2001, 04:40 PM Looks like I may have spoke too soon about finding one. (thanks Rehan) :) -Michael Jaiem 03-28-2001, 11:29 AM You may have to go with a sales agent type arrangement instead of a traditional reseller if you want the parent host to do the tech support. |
