We have been in business since 1991.
We have about 12 people in the company.
Yes we have 24/7 support.
Reboots are done within 5-10 minutes of getting the request.
We have a 4 hour hardware repacement policy for all non-compaq servers for compaqs we have a limited supply of spare parts (drives, mem, procs) on site but alot have to be overnighted.
For emergencys we have compaq techs on call and network engineers on call 24/7

I don't use Netwave myself, but a friend of mine does, and he's extremely happy with their services.
Excellent offer :)

Is there an option for this system with RedHat linux btw ?

No compaq says this is designed for Windows Clusters only. We have had problems installing freebsd/openbsd/red hat on it. Windows on the other hand installs flawlessly.

How does a P2 450 Zeon compare with todays modern processors? I was under the impression the Zeon is a top CPU so wondered what you would compare it to speed/performancewise?

We love them. We have our shared hosting cluster running quad p2 450 xeons on each node and they work great. I can't tell the diff between those machines and our 2ghz ones. Well except one is a 6U compaq and the other is a nice 1U.

Thanks Nick,
I was just wondering as for this spec- would the 450 Zeon perhaps be on par with an 800 PIII for example? These are just numbers... I was just wondering as it's quite a low MHZ by todays standards of $99/$100 month servers and assume the Zeons are a lot better (they have like loads of cache or something don't they?)

I really can't give you an answer to that question as I have not really done much comparison testing to see what the 450 xeon is equal to.
On another note we are currently out of stock on these machines.
