Hi,
I have built a site with a contact form for a customer who has shared hosting with 1and1.
The contact form works fine on my local host and on a test site I have on my reseller space with Inno.
When I upload the site to 1and1 I receive a 403 error, denying me access to the php file.
I have set file permissions for the php file to 755.
I notice that my customer is only supplied with a single directory "/." in which to upload files.
I created another called "/nomore403" and tried putting the site in this.
Regardless of where I put my php file, I get the 403 error
1and1 site = www.seriouslysolid.co.uk returns 403 error
Inno site = www.thinkingspace.biz/FridaybetaV4CODEFIX/Home.html
..works fine
so
1. what sort of directory structure do I need to make with 1and1 to allow this php file to run?
Thanks in advance
Steve
PS
I'm posting this here as the response from the host have been slow and somewhat generic and their published telephone contact help is unobtainable (at least from the country I am currently in). The FAQs on the site do not address this particular 403 error.

It would be amusing if...
So it transpires that my customer only has a basic package - which does not support php.
A piece of information missing from the original response to my query 7 days ago.
I'm over it now
