anyone know where i can get this particular spider:
type url into a box, click submit and if that page (typed in) contains the correct html insert/link (pre defined in script) then it goes to a certain page and if not, goes to another page.
free would be preferable, thanks in advance.

I don't understand what you said... after a user enter the url, the program will check to see if the url exists??

if the url has a 404 error, it will display an error message, if the url exists, it will go there??

what i want it do, is check if the url typed into the box contains on it's site the particular link, ie check the site has linked back to my site. then to take the user to a certain page if it finds the link and another if it doesn't. a type of verification script
