anybody know where to get cpanel cheaper than 99.00 per month with good telephone support also. we rent the cpanel from a 3rd party company to use on our dedicated server now and pay 99.00 per month.

nixhosting.com has them for $65. That is, I believe as cheap as it gets for external licenses.

You can also contact Robin, username rastoma on these boards. His site is www.myvirtualnet.net and it has contact information for him on there. The site doesn't mention cpanel but he is a distributor and will do you better than $99 for sure.

I would second Robin, hes a great guy and knows his stuff. I think nixhosting charges extra for support if I am right.

To my knowledge, the best price a distributor can give for external licences is $65 a month. It's in their contract with CPanel. Best bet is to look for a company that gives serverely discounted internal licences and get a server with them.

It is my understanding that has changed as of August 1st, tho I could be wrong. In fact, I saw a distributor spaming the cpanel forums with a $57 cpanel license. Please do not pm me asking whom, I will not disclose.

It was me:D I was'nt spamming though. I posted in the ad sections ONLY. Call it spamming or not, it seemed to work great. But my 1st grade brain tells me I stopped short of spamming:stickout

we could install cpanel on a remote server right?? its not too hard i hope we are gonna buy a cpanel license but have never installed it b4

Cpanel is not difficult to install at all.

It's as simple as wget.. and running the .sh install script - most of the time :-)

Although there are some tricks for installing on a server within NZ as I have found :-)

Post your request in the Related Request forum, (as you may know) no one can offer you anything here in the main forum.

Another tip - if you want more options/offers, doing some work yourself and search the forum; you can contact resellers who otherwise do not see you request. (and maybe get a better price/support).
