Hey all,
I need to create a model buliding for my graphic & design class and am planning on designing it using a 3d modeling applictaion :)
Only thing is i dunno wich one would be best :confused:
So any one know a good modeling package that i can design a 3D building with?! :D

Don't forget Anim8or. I've used it and it's a good start and makes you understand 3D before you start using more advance software like 3ds max. And it's free.

Ive used both maya and 3dmax... love maya!! yaayee!! but it costs a bomb shell :(

lightwave 7 all the way!! checked out the other packages at SIGGRAPH 2002 this year and none compete with lightwave. The UI and rendering/animation are SUPERB!

The only ones I have used are Bryce and Poser, and they are good from my experiences. Also heard Ray Dream and Carrara are good.
