It's just nice (in my opinion) that it shows you some information as you type instead of having to hit "search".
I usually just type http://www.whois.sc/domainhere.com and load up one page with the information I need however :)

Yeah that is a nice search tool since it shows some difference from other site like whois.sc or domaintools. Thanks for the info though I used to use domaintools for a whois search.

Very nice, I was using http://www.instantdomainsearch.com/ in the past, both are very good sites it looks like.
