I tried searching the forum for this problem, but could'nt find the solution.

Catch-all E-mail for my domain does'nt seems to be working. By this I mean, any e-mail sent to username@hostingbetter.com is received perfectly, but when e-mail sent to alias@hostingbetter.com , it gives the sender a "user unknown" error.

I have tried deleting and then re-creating the DNS records but this also have'nt solved the problem.

Please reply asap as the alias that is my main concern is sales@hostingbetter.com and it is bouncing back e-mails.

How did you setup your catch all ??

In aliases should be @www.domain.com then that account will receive all sended email !

I fix catch-alls by doing the following:
1) Make sure hostname.domain.com is not in the mail server alias list. So if hostname is www then www.domain.com should not be in the mail server alias list.
2) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Make sure that domain.com and/or hostname.domain.com are in the relay for AND recieve for lists in the e-mail server setup in the control panel.

I did notice that NOT having a MX record didn't affect e-mail for a couple of domains, as long as the server was set up to recieve mail for them. It seems that the default is the same server the site is kept on. This is probably why hostname.domain.com and domain.com don't need to be specified explicitly for both to work.

uhmm no I get the error that the header in the file is missing and that it is probably not a pdf file..............:(

Those PDFs basically say "Have an MX record, go to your user, and add @name to their alias list". Doesn't say what to do if you get an error.
