Update on InterServer.net (http://www.interserver.net)

Hi

Interserver.net have improved there support quality dramatically, in last few days we have few problems related to quotas and some other stuff and they was fixed within timely manner, I can say there are no delays in response as before, the network is rock solid as servers are in vdi.net data center, reboots are instant (yes instant) just use vdi.net 's pager address whenever you need reboot and you will get it within 2 minutes (we always got it).

Also they have introduced new control panel, which is a bonus. In this control panel, you can upgrade kernel, can reboot server, can install upgrade of system software and it also shows up-to-date bandwidth data in gb's and mbps.

You can also reboot the server through this interface. In this interserver control panel, one can also create and manage billing stuff for there clients, they are also planning to tie up with authorize.net reseller (or they have already did - sorry I have no idea on this) to process credit card payment automatically which will make all stuff allot more easier.

The control panel have allot more functionality, like ip addresses, server data etc., can not describe them in one post. Yeah, its not a cpanel its there own control panel developed specially for dedicated servers clients.

Over all interserver.net is doing good according to my experience with them. I feel very happy when any of my host improves quality (not price :D).

Best of luck interserver.net :agree:

That's great. Before they a lot of problems, and many looked down upon them. I'm glad they are finally getting better.

If they are as good as you say they are now, then I will probably get a server from them.

Ok, are there any current interserver customers out there that can come forth and add to this thread, good or bad?

Is the control panel AUCC?

AUCC will be beta 2 weeks,

admin.trouble-free.net is a server farm manager, it is designed to run servers with Cpanel, plesk or standard Redhat.

There are many features in this new utility that is still in beta testing, many of the Noc clients are using this currently and consider this a very powerful option.

Too many features to list, and welcome to the next generation of hosting :)

....and boys and girls this is not "vaporware" :)

heh. well that's nice and all, but they arent looking too good. i emailed them three simple questions at 7am, and its 3pm now, and no response what so ever.

It shouldn't take this long. oh well whatever.

If it was a sales question, the sales team usally gets in at 10-11 am, the response to sales questions do not reflect support, which is first most important issue to deal with.

I`m sure they will have your questions completed by end of day.

I'll post back in a month or two to let you guys know what it's been like.

You have got to be kidding me, their support is worst in the industry. I ordered a 512MB ram, waited for 2 weeks only 256mb that was installed. they charge me for 512MB. I emailed them, and they said they need to change the motherboard for a fee ($100)., I said OK, go ahead with the change. 2 weeks later, no news no nothing. I emailed them to forget about it, and told them to make adjustment to the ram setup fee since only 256 that was installed, 2 days later, still nothing.

I tell you one thing stay away from them. I am moving out as soon as I find suitable provider.
