nahh its not even in use right now, makes a good paper weight for now. It's a prototype raq XTR handbuilt by underpaid starving sun engineers. I'll most likely strip it for parts.

That RAQ looks nice...I've never really seen one in a real-life situation, just stock photos from Cobalt.

yeah, they're not quite as blue as you'd think from photos (sun), more of a translucent dark blue. I have a RaQ3 at home... in a box... on a shelf...

CyberWing employee must have taken this picture. The sad thing is how many hosts are actually this tiny and helpless.

To tell the truth, I used to run a host just like the one in the first picture. Except, the toll free support was nonexistant. Also, I only had a 128kbit connection out. The routing was the worst technologies. Worst of all, the server was an unstable server that was a retired gaming box for having everything break at some point.

It was half submerged in water with one of the side panels missing. In addition, I would use the server to do some gaming and non-server-related stuff occasionally. Yet, nobody really noticed it.

Even though I provided free service on that (100MB stuff), and an upgrade to 500MB for $3/mo, I still did get a few customers. Not to mention I loaded over 2300 websites on that poor thing.

Yet, nobody complained. On many review sites, I still got 5 stars. The speeds averaged 2KB/sec max if you were downloading from my host at that time. Some businesses dared to host their site on mines, but I decided to turn some of them away for their own good (uptime was lower than 70%).

Just shut it down when I had to switch ISPs. That's where I got all my skills to run a host today. Many people still wanted it back. However, really, I don't think the picture is really a joke at all. I used to operate successfully under that setup, and nobody complained really.

Now, of course, I'm running under something way more stable, and way up to par with a reasonable host (eg. redundant connections, etc, everything you'd expect from a stable host). I now aim at stability, and real quality rather than some makeshift stuff at a home. I must say, sometimes, many things can be ignored.
