I accidently mailbombed myself with 5,000 emails once while testing something I was coding. That took a few hours over a 56k. :D

this is when a webmail interface comes handy.

ahh, the joys of webmail, and dsl :D ...but i cant believe theres over one thousand!, i get about 150 emails a day...2 of them are good...if that!

Yea, I was thinking the number of messages was kind of low for a month. that's prob. my weekly total.

Why DL it?
I never do, unless I am going to reply.
I go in with a text only email reader and read and or delete right off the server before DLing whatever I am going to reply to.
My ISP email piles up like that. I never gave it out, so I know it is spam. I just go in once every couple or three months and hit "control", highlight each one, then "delete".
