In my research for a good reseller, I often find most
of the competition offers Linux.
Can anyone tell me a quick summary on the pros and cons
of Windows vx. Linux and their differences?

Generally, you should choose Windows if you specifically require Microsoft technologies like ASP, .NET, MS SQL.
If you don't need those, then Linux tends to be the best choice.

I agree - unless you specifically need some of the features that come with Windows that you cannot get on Linux I would go with Linux.
Linux is a lot cheaper as a lot of the software is Open-Source and free where as almost all Microsoft Products require licenses that usually aren't exactly cheap.

Windows reseller could have a higher profit margin compared to the millions of Linux/cPanel resellers out there ;)

Linux would definitely be my choice.
