View Full Version : In need of custom plan

1) Here are the specifics of my plan:
a. 30-40GB per month.
b. 500-600MB space.
c. 15 POP3 Accounts (While not required, POP3 accounts on subdomains would be appreciated, as well as usage of "." in POP3 accounts)
d. 10 Subdomains
e. 3 MySQL Databases (I currently use only 1, but I like to be comfortable for the future)
f. Decent, non-cluttered control panel.
g. 5 FTP Accounts
h. standard e-mail forwarders, responders etc. - Webmail would be a plus, but not a requirement.

2) My web site is 100% legal (Smiles), so no worries of illegal mp3s etc. I'm a freelance journalist and my site is basically me and me only with a daily update of my columns, feature articles, news reports, investigative reports etc. I stream my talk radio show on my site once a week (2hrs in duration) in RA. I have a vBulletin board installed as well. I have an online store that lists products on my site but the final sale is completed on Amazon.com and/or enews.com. My site traffic isn't too high right now, although my site is new(<<15,000). There are no ad-banners on my site, and for the most part it is text. If anyone wishes to see the design etc., e-mail me directly.

3) Price/Term. I DO NOT wish to be on any long term contracts. Month to month is what I'm looking for, with no setup fee's. <<$30/month.

I'm currently hosted with CommuniTech, but after a year ... I can't deal with it anymore. This is also an urgent matter as my term with CT expires in 5 days and I would like to switch before then.

You'd think I'd have answered your emails by now, eh? Looks like tomorrow will be the day... though I can't offer much advice. Best to post in the forum and hope someone else knows how to do the things you want, and suggests some hosts... you can post this there, though hosts themselves can't reply (they can email you from the board however).

Chicken,

I forgot to e-mail you back and tell you that CT finally e-mailed me back and answered the question. Thanks though, appreciate it. [Edit:] It was a matter of using telnet to back it up locally which I had to have someone else do :-/

And I've received a few decent e-mails so far regarding this topic.
