Hi guys
What it would be better for a support ticketing system between these two? Email handling is of high importance because I want my customers to open a ticket by sending an email and the ticket could be answered from an emploee but through my emai/name, as it was me. I share the support with friends which I pay them for but I do not want my clients to know that somebody else in answering.
Many many thanks
Kayako was built just for that, and is more robust for support. WHMCS help desk is pretty good for a billing system, but I'd suggest it's not the main focus of the script, so it's probably not going to be as fully featured.
I use them both, but all support is through Kayako.

I would recommend Kayako for this. WHMCS is an excellent billing system but it shouldn't be used as standalone support system.

E-mail piping is basic feature of any given support system. Both Kayako and WHMCS supports this.
Good luck in your research.

I have to agree with Bear, having recently moved back to kayako for the support side it can't be beat on the whole. But there are better live chat softwares out there.

Space rich, why you think WHMCS "shouldn't be used as standalone support system"? Is there any reliabilty problems or faults associated with it or something I should know about?
I may buy one of them for my own use and so would be good to know the advantages and mostly the disadvantages of a system.
All the best

you can integrate kayako into whmcs, but if your main focus is just support desk, then go for kayako.

We are using Kayako live support and WHMCS for billing. I also think that Kayako would be best of just the support ticketing system, but WHMCS is just perfect for billing purposes :)

Kayako is the best helpdesk system currently in the market. I have used several other helpdesk systems but my personal favorite is Kayako.
WHMCS is billing software with integrated help desk system. Its good but my vote will go for Kayako due to rich features and easy to explore interface.

One more vote goes to Kayoko by far for support and live chat
