I would say no, as there is no such thing as an unlimited hard drive or an unlimited connection. c0nka 01-21-2009, 07:39 PM Ok mate thanks does anyone now were i can get a good master reseller for 10-20 dollars bager 01-21-2009, 08:46 PM Try searching for reviews:www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php. Check the offers section on wht for reseller. gearworx 01-21-2009, 08:58 PM Yikes! "Unmetered", that cannot be good. net 01-21-2009, 09:01 PM You already asked the impossible space in another thread. It seems that you are only looking for unlimited space/bandwidth and doesn't matter about reliable hosting. Go ahead and try it so you can find it for yourself. MikeDVB 01-21-2009, 10:06 PM My first piece of advice would be to stay away from "Master Reseller" accounts. My second piece of advice is to stay away from "unlimited" or "unmetered" reseller accounts. My third piece of advice is to go with a company that has a solid history and reputation. StartYourServer 01-24-2009, 06:09 PM is this good to buy ? https://bluebayhost.com/masteralpha.html If they are offering master reseller plans at those prices I would definitely say their servers are most likely overloaded. engineerroy 01-25-2009, 04:21 AM All reseller servers will be over loaded only, can any one who serves in this reseller hosting can provide the server load for a month here ? It is their business and for the amount that is the best they can offer. Only thing is to select a reliable company in the list of reseller hosting companies muasolutions 01-25-2009, 04:55 AM Dear , please dont use unmetered or any like service because unmetered is not real. Try a better service like hostgator , dmehosting and tmzhosting services. Best Regards BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 01:27 AM Our servers are not overloaded. Unmetered means that you may use as much hard drive space as needed to run your website. We will install extra hard drives as needed. This does not mean that you may back-up your entire computer on our servers, you may only use the space to run your website(s). Uptime and Customer Support is our top priority. We have been offering affordable hosting solutions since 2007. You may also talk to some of our clients about our service. Or you may talk to our support staff live on our website. Thanks for your time and consideration, <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> so if a master reseller sells 300 accounts and they all use 5 gigs of space each, you will be able to handle 1.5TB hard drive for that $10/month? Lets say the 5 gigs are going towards hosting content I mean I would understand some people selling it on shared accounts because a person can only do so much but on a reseller..and alpha master reseller which would be even crazier and super overselling imo larwilliams 02-10-2009, 02:55 AM Ok mate thanks does anyone now were i can get a good master reseller for 10-20 dollars "good" and "master reseller" don't go together. livechatdir 02-10-2009, 03:14 AM Any replies to njoker555, bluebayhost? Kaumil 02-10-2009, 04:07 AM Spend a few more dollars per month with a more reputable company, and you won't regret that you did. BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 02:38 PM b. Examples of unacceptable material: IRC Bots File upload sites (ex. rapidshare.com ) Warez Sites Pirated Software Hate sites Hack programs and archives Proxy Scripts / Anonymizers c. Using any type of account such as our Shared, Reseller, Master Reseller, or Alpha Master Reseller plans for a back/storage device is not permitted, with the exception of one backup of the same account. Please do not take backups of your backups. If you have 300 sites at 5GB a piece, the space would have to be provided as long as the site(s) are not breaking the Terms of Service in anyway. <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> njoker555 02-10-2009, 02:40 PM If you have 300 sites at 5GB a piece, the space would have to be provided as long as the site(s) are not breaking the Terms of Service. that's what i was going on about, where is the profit? how would you stay in business? You can't honestly tell me you are willing to suffer huge losses for this. BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 02:47 PM The space would have to be provided. As long as there was no breaking of the TOS. More space would have to be added, that is our responsibility. Thanks for your question, <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> njoker555 02-10-2009, 02:48 PM lol nevermind, don't think I'll be getting a straight answer BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 02:51 PM We would have to except the loss, that is our responsibility. Hope this answers your question a little better. <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> MikeDVB 02-10-2009, 03:58 PM I call BS, I'm willing to bet they don't even have 1500gb available to any of their servers - and I'm absolutely sure they're not going to let you use 1500gb without you "somehow" violating some provision of their Terms of Service. Stay away from master/alpha reseller plans - it's a poor business model. larwilliams 02-10-2009, 04:24 PM I call BS, I'm willing to bet they don't even have 1500gb available to any of their servers - and I'm absolutely sure they're not going to let you use 1500gb without you "somehow" violating some provision of their Terms of Service. Stay away from master/alpha reseller plans - it's a poor business model. Indeed. Considering the issues with most 1TB+ drives lately, it would be difficult to provision any one server with more than a 1TB and ensure the safety of client data. The whole idea of master/alpha reseller plans is a joke anyways. You know it's a bad idea when even cPanel themselves won't consider it :D BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 05:32 PM We have thought of changing from Cpanel in the near future. We understand the concerns listed. If anyone has suggestions of a control panel we are here to listen. Appreciate the concerns, <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> larwilliams 02-10-2009, 11:25 PM We have thought of changing from Cpanel in the near future. We understand the concerns listed. If anyone has suggestions of a control panel we are here to listen. Appreciate the concerns, <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> The concern isn't about the control panel, but rather how, without proper planning and significant resources (at least hundreds of thousands of $$), your business is likely to collapse under it's own weight. BlueBayHost 02-10-2009, 11:43 PM Appreciate the advice. Changes have and are being made to our Unmetered plans. We will no longer be selling Unmetered plans. Overselling has slowly became a bigger concern of ours due to the abuse the server has taken from it and the concerns of you guys. We appreciate the comments and hope to advance in a more proper planned hosting environment. <<Signature to be setup in your profile>> |
