It's not like they don't have a reasonably-sized ftp server farm. 2,500 concurrent downloads per server is pretty good.

Try downloading from a gov mirror. From the redhat I got speeds of 3 k/s but from the gov ones I was reaching into 60k/s+

Try one that's on the same network as the one your dedicated's on (for example, if your host is on TimeWarner and there's a mirror on TW at another host, use that mirror). :D

I've looked, for the next couple disc I'll do just that.

I have plenty of workstations here to leave the terminal window up.

When done, I just download it from my server, but man, 3 or 4 days for 3 discs lol

It's running at 80kbs from redhat right now, and Im downloading disc2 from my server at 2mbs. =)

Just don't delete the ISOs now, just in case. :D

The server is in Fremont California, I'm 45 miles away.

SSH from office to Fremont dedicated
Dedicated ftp from redhat's servers
Then download iso's from fremont dedicated.
Delete them off fremont dedicated

Ah ok. I guess it's all good then. :D
