We have added a new product line. The Monster Nodes line is a product line that is specially designed to serve as a platform for VPS nodes. These servers are built and optimized so as to provide the best performance possible at the lowest price. They are built with 3 hard drives instead of 2. A small primary drive is used for the OS and control panel whereas the 2 large drives are mounted as 2 drives or as a software RAID 1 mirror for speed and redundancy. The large drives are used as data drives to house the Virtual Machines that are created and run from that location. This configuration helps distribute the data read/write process over 3 drives which improve many aspects such as the swap memory management as well as eventual file system problems and most other operations.
The Monster Nodes are deployed with 8GB RAM minimum and 10 usable IP’s each and can be loaded with either HyperVM openVZ / HyperVM Xen / or custom software if possible. Many of the servers are RTG which means Ready to Go and simply require a reload and install. Deployment can often be within 4-6 hours if ordered 9-5 E.S.T. Servers which are not RTG often have reasonable deploying times; within 2-3 days.

Please note that 16GB servers are always available. It is the price that is more expensive unless it is an RTG or Back yard server since in that case they are servers that ready in stock and we are able to reduce the price on them to turn them around rapidly.
In this case the servers mentioned above are in very limited supply. Also please send us an email if you are looking for any particular 16GB systems. We might have a Q9550 quad core server with 16GB available at a very interesting price.

Also please note that in both cases it would be deployed with the 2X500 GB drives and later a 1TB drive would be added.
