Is anyone here having speed problems with VDI based servers tonight?
It seems to be running snail slow and I just wondered if anyone else was having problems?

I've been running a few tracerts & pings and doing a lot of work at various VDI servers today and aside from a short 5-minute burp about an hour ago (3:20 p.m. central time) all has seemed just fine on my end.

:) $.02

My sites have had various slow periods these past few days. I think (or hope) they are still working out the problem that sent them down last week.

i am really starting to dislike the VDI setup. so many problems lately! all the downtimes, and now the slowness, and the control panel has all these problems with the email setup etc. i have 2 sites on alabanza and they have been up and going like the energizer bunny with no probs.

i have 2 newer sites on VDI and they have been troublesome off and on since day one, i haven't had much of a chance to relax and actually *enjoy* my creations yet, i've been spending so much time bugging my poor webhosts for help with this that and the other! they probably really hate me now *sigh* :)

i guess this forum must be hosted on a place that uses VDI too, because everytime my sites went down and i came here to see if anyone knew what was going on, this place would be down too! hehehe :)

vdi is never going to be up 100% of the time...are we being too critical?

dherman76-
Yes, but VDI has been haiving troubles this week and people are just a bit fustrated. Overall they've been pretty good, but no one likes bumps.

Our CB9000 is not performing as "3com promised: :)
it will be out of here as soon at the Cisco 6509 get here..
It`s backplane is "which was to handle a colledge campus as they quoted to us"

This hardware is out of here!!

VDI is just awiting for the cisco 6509 to get here and you all will be happy again.

to see a picture of the "not good as expected switch" which is the actual photo at VDI.

Well, I know we will be glad to see when this new router gets in. When is it expected ?

I know it will help. We used to be on cisco routers and switches and they were great.

Looking forward to the smooth service again.

Thank you for the response Bill. The picture looks nice but after you install the new Cisco in place, I would like to see another picture with you going at this bad switch with a sledge hammer :D That would make us all feel good. Or maybe film the whole even and put an mpeg of it. I would call it: VDI's Revenge :D

I certainly look forward for the good days to come back soon.
