I got a server from them roughly two weeks ago. I noticed that they have many small network downtime. In the last 48hours, network went down at least 5-6 times. As far as I am aware of, network has been down 6-7 hours in the last 2 days.

Anyone experience similar thing?

Hi Josh, yes I have. Our server is unreachable. I ran some tracert's and it looked like a node just before the servers. That was via cogent, looks now that they have tried to route us through something else. Which is also failing.

No response to email etc. Hmmm. Not looking good at moment. But they have been moving etc so will see.

OMG. No email response, no one answering the phone. network down for the last 7-8 hours and is still down, plus 5 hours yesterday. I think I had enough.

i have a server with Edge-host , they have network problems since one or two days ago. But the problems are in the cogent network apparently.

The route from my home to the server has changed many times in this 2 days. In some moments have been more than 60 hops in the traceroute.


but , Edge - host said they have a Level-3 Backup !!!

my account seems to be working fine now... had some troubles but they've all seemed to work out fine... best of luck to ya'll

I hope this gets resolved, I'm sure Kelsey is working on this.

It's a very modest of you to call 5-6 times of network downtime totalling 6-7 hours in the last 2 days as "small" :) Hope you get the situation resolved soon.

The BGP4 routing is almost done and all servers will be switched onto it within the next few days. This will mean that the network will be up most of the time. We have connections with:

Verio
Internap (9 carriers)
Williams
Cognet

OMG..down again! It has been over 90 minutes now and still down. It looks like someone doesnt know how to manage their network to me. Good luck you all. I am out of here..

Well crap. I just signed up with these guys. The day I sign up it goes down. I can't think of a better sign than that. I haven't moved my domain over yet though. Maybe I'll wait awhile before updating my name servers. :mad:
